5 min away from ferries
noisy, could hear everything people did outside the hotel and outside our room, grumpy staff, spoke almost no English, the smallest garage ever, expensive breakfast for low value

It was a good value hotel in a very nice area. Close enough to the channel tunnel, port of Calais, city centre, ferry port, and excellent local bars and clubs. - Greatly enjoyed fast check-in and late check-out. - the extra touch with the pillows was much appreciated.

Rooms have been recently updated, offering nice views of the town 🏙️
The staff was helpful and willing to assist guests during their stay. Great location, just a short 300 meters from Place d'armes for easy access to nearby attractions.

Awful experience.Booked a family room for 5 pictures on Booked.net looked nothing like what we received. A non smoking room which had cigarette burns in the bath and when you stood in it you thought you were going to go through the ceiling. For 97 euros for one night only on a room only basis i did not find this value for money. Want a good hotel go to Novotel Lens an hour away but well worth a visit - for 2 rooms and breakfast for all 5 of us it was 122 euros. Excellent service, immacualte, food great and an outdoor pool plus free wifi, along with flat screen tvs in all rooms with satellite tv.We thought we would stay nearer to the ferry port on the way back -never again!!!!!! Stay in Lens - fab

I liked the amazing quality of accommodation for so modest a price; the room was basic but clean, the shower WC room fine with plenty of hot water, the bed comfortable and the TV had 20 good definition French channels. The self-service breakfast was excellent with a very varied selection of breads, fruit, yoghurts, juices, and nice hot coffee. There was also eggs and cold meat. The maitre d'hotel was kidness itself, and the other staff were all very helpful. The hotel itself is right in the very centre of the town, surrounded on all sides by restaurants, cafes and shops, and yet close enough to the beech and nature reserves for the naturalist (Which I am). If you have arrived to Calais by Eurostar, the hotel orders a taxi to take you back to its Frethun station on your arrival. This hotel is a very good buy!
